Ad #1
I saw this ad while I was watching t.v. and instantly loved it. This ad incorporates humor, historical significance, as well as nationalism all into one advertisement. The new Dodge Challenger reflects the look of the "American muscle car" or classic look and the ad agency used this to go with the classic American story of the US defeating the British. This commercial evokes American pride with an "American made" vehicle and company and is down playing it's European competitors. This commerical makes the viewer want to buy an American car that is "made in America" which ties into the sense of American identity that this commercial makes the viewer feel.
